I am redo-ing my tiny monster man’s room so that it is his own manly space – he was sharing with his sister. This makeover is planned to be low budget and full of Pinterest-ing projects!…. Here’s the original post with the room makeover plan.
I have finished the bed. We had a perfectly good twin bed that was my oldest daughter’s and then my youngest daughter’s…but it was pink! But instead of tossing it and buying new…I painted it! Here’s the finished project! and I made a nice seating area out of his old crib…Check out the finished project here! Then I made a Reading Nook and Name Wall…Check out both of those Projects Here!
The room is now done! I had the goal of this whole room project costing $100-$150. I ended up spending $153.37….So close to being on budget! I LOVE the room and so does the tiny man!
This was a simple project…I already had an end table from my daughter’s old set. It was pink with pink knobs, so I just painted and grabbed some cheap white knobs.
Cost:
Primer – $0 Already had this from previous room projects Orange Paint – $0 Also already had this from the bed & shutter project. White Knobs – $2.47 Walmart knob 2 pk Total =$2.47
This teepee project was SO easy! A little wood frame and curtains! I got an AWESOME deal on the Curtains from Curtainworks (Check out deal here! still going!) And the Bean Bag in there is just a cover from Bed, Bath, & Beyond and then stuffed with stuffed animals! Great storage solution!
