Sign up for the Target REDcard. You can get this card as a Credit Card or a Debit Card. You can apply online for the Credit Card, but you must sign up in store for the Debit Card. The REDcard will save you 5% on all Target purchases (after all coupons).
Sign up for Target Mobile Coupons! These are Target Store Coupons that will be sent directly to your phone! These coupons can only be used once each and will be scanned off your phone. (Yeah, that’s right the cashier will actually take the red laser scanning gun thing and scan a barcode on your phone’s screen! Super Fancy Stuff!) You must have a web-enabled phone.
Print the Target Coupon Policy and carry it with you when shopping!
Savings Tactics:
- Stack Target Store Coupons with Manufacturer’s Coupons (MQ). You can find Target coupons online, have them sent to your phone, and sometimes in the Sunday paper inserts.
- Price match! Target will match any competitor’s advertised price. You may also use MQ’s with the price match, but not Target Coupons.
- Weekly Gift Card Deals. Target will run many Gift Card deals where you buy a $ amount of any product and receive a Gift Card or buy X number of any product and receive a Gift Card. You may combine coupons with these deals. You may also use the earned gift card immediately following the transaction to buy more in a 2nd transaction.
- Watch for Price Cuts. In addition to the weekly sales, Target will run Price Cuts that will typically last for several weeks.
